Your files, explained.

Browser tools

Most tools process your inputs on your device. Image editing, text utilities and PDF tools do not send your document contents to our statistics service. Some tools download supporting libraries or models from external providers.

Server conversions

Some image conversions require server processing. Your file is sent to the conversion endpoint, processed in memory, and the result is returned. The converter describes where it runs. Uploaded files are not stored by the application.

Usage statistics

We count tool interactions and sample-file downloads. These records contain the tool or file identifier, time, optional country and referring host, and a random visitor identifier. We use a first-party cookie and browser storage to avoid counting the same action repeatedly within ten minutes. The cookie lasts up to one year. Tool inputs and uploaded file contents are not included in these usage records.

Feedback

If you submit feedback, your email address, message and the page you are reporting are sent to the site operator so we can investigate and reply. Your address is not added to a mailing list.

External services

Sample files are served from Amazon S3. Currency conversion retrieves exchange rates through a server endpoint; Open Graph previews retrieve the page URL you enter. These requests are subject to the relevant hosting providers’ network logging.
